Selena kicked off her career in real estate and retail in 2003 where her authenticity and natural leadership qualities accelerated her straight into various management positions.
She was quickly recognised for her ability to build organisational culture, drive future direction and enhance her team’s effectiveness which saw her take out several National Retail Management Awards.
Having watched this young gun propel towards executive level performance so quickly, in 2006 ANZ headhunted Selena and appointed her as a Senior Personal Broker.
In this role, ANZ recognised Selena’s ability to transform business performance through effective communication and leadership, and within three months she was promoted to manage a number of ANZ’s Sunshine Coast branches.
At just 24 years old, Selena was one of the youngest Bank Managers in Australia and within her first year, she led her team to be ranked #6 in the country.
After more than a decade of leading several ANZ branches, and winning multiple awards along the way, in 2016 Selena decided to join the family business, Loanright Financial Services.
Having assumed so much responsibility from a young age, Selena’s ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure were key skills that would see her become the successful Finance Broker she is today.
As a leader, business owner and mother of two beautiful girls, Selena loves to build capability in both businesses and individuals. She has a history of motivating teams to exceed performance expectations – a trait that she now applies in her work as a Finance Broker by negotiating with the banks to deliver the very best solutions for her clients.
Selena is passionate about supporting the Sunshine Coast community to grow their business ventures and property portfolios. In particular, Selena specialises in assisting small businesses and self-employed clients to secure funding that aligns with any future goals.
She also loves to assist with investment strategies, and you’ll often find her scrolling realestate.com to help customers find their next home or investment property.
Selena is proud to have built a very loyal client base over the years, not only with customers she has met through LoanRight, but also those she met in previous roles who know she will always have their best interests at heart, and the experience to deliver.
