Luke has an extensive professional background in Sales and Management. He successfully led a large team within a bustling retail store for five years, before diving into a competitive, fast-paced environment working as a travel agent.
In this role, Luke recognised that when customers choose to engage a travel agent instead of booking a trip themselves, they are looking for expertise, exclusive products and customised solutions. And most importantly a hassle-free process.
You choose to engage a Finance Broker for the same reasons, and Luke’s success as a travel agent saw him develop these qualities early in his career, and allowed him to seamlessly move into a role as a Finance Broker at one of the Sunshine Coast’s largest motor groups.
As a Broker, Luke was quickly recognised for his ability to listen, negotiate with the banks and think on his feet. As such, he was appointed to mentor the group’s Finance and Insurance Managers from 2009 onwards.
From here Luke joined his Father-in-law, Graham McKay, at Loanright in 2013. With Graham’s guidance, Luke expanded his skill set to specialise in writing residential loans, construction loans and commercial lending.
Having now accumulated more than a decade of experience in asset finance and property finance, Luke is well known for his extensive market knowledge and genuine care for his clients.

He recognises the trust his clients place in him and always strives to exceed their expectations.
Based in Alexandra Headland, Luke, his wife and their two young daughters spend their weekends exploring everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer. From the beaches to the rainforests and hinterland – you can’t go past the relaxed lifestyle that this region offers.
Luke’s familiarity with the Sunshine Coast, and experiences of having lived here for most of his life give him the enthusiasm and a desire to make his home, your home.
He’s renovated multiple properties over the years, and in his spare time he takes every opportunity to support the Brisbane Broncos, a team he’s been loyal to since ’88.
